The Still House Moira – Review

At the weekend we visited The Still House in Moira to experience their newly launched menu. A great restaurant which was taken over by the owners of the fabulous Ruby Blue Spirits. At the moment the restaurant is open and doing great business. They will be opening a distillery next door VERY soon so stay tuned! An amazing combination of businesses. Located in the beautifully picturesque Moira close to Belfast. We also interviewed their incredibly talented head chef. You can read the interview here.

What did we have?

For starters I had Tempura Cod Cheeks with with sweet and sour tomatoes and curried aioli. Which was simply exquisite! Ursula opted for the Duck Live Parfait with fig and star anise chutney, hazelnuts and toast. Which was equally beautiful. A great summertime choice!

For mains I had the Panko Crumbed Chicken Goujons with Garden salad, Southwest mayo, garlic cubed potatoes. These were incredible. Perfectly crispy and the accompaniments went perfectly with the disk. Ursula opted for the Signature Pork and Leak Sausages with Chive creamed potato, Stout gravy. This looked and tasted absolutly incredible and it is no surprise that this is one of their signature dishes.
